If in the previous articles we had the opportunity to learn about the ideas and skills of the Costanzelli brothers, today we will take advantage of this article to learn about the vision of Francesca Pesci, Cristiano's wife and administrative manager of the family business.

Francesca, quick in her movements and practical in her thoughts. As she herself tells us the name Teamplast underlines the teamwork integrated with the skills in the plastics sector. These are exactly the sensations that you breathe when you enter the company. A pleasant cheerfulness accompanies the professional and collaborative climate, coffee breaks shared between workers and employers, jokes and smiles where the comparison with the employers is always cordial. Francesca immediately makes clear the objectives and methods of those who have to manage the household accounts: "Increasing a company's turnover in Italy is very difficult, the costs that must be sustained and the taxes are very high. By counting on our own strengths and focusing on targeted investments, we have managed to grow steadily over time without losing sight of customer care. We always guarantee support in all stages of product development, from the project to the final delivery: it is certainly one of our strengths. We believe and want to offer a quality product that meets the customer's needs. This drives us to improve our reality more and more, both from a production and organizational point of view. At this rate, the next goal will be to open up to the European market, but waiting for the right time and conditions. For now we can define it as a long-term project”.  

To fully understand the philosophy of a family-run business, the path and specificity of the company are fundamental in the analysis of its evolution. Let's see what have been the most important steps of these first twelve years of activity.

2010 – 2019: the first decade

It was in 2010 that Cristiano and Simone Costanzelli decided to capitalise on their years of experience in the flexible plastic packaging sector and create a new company specialising in the production of customised packaging for industries.. Francesca decides to support the family in this important undertaking and takes care of the bureaucratic and administrative aspects

The attention that the Costanzellis place on the quality of their products and customer services is clear from the very beginning.

Only two years after the opening of the business, the earthquake in Emilia Romagna puts the entire entrepreneurial structure of the Emilian territory to the test, Teamplast is also affected. The production department is not interrupted but for some months it was necessary to reorganise the environment and work shifts. Thanks to the strength of ideas and resilience, which can only be experienced in a family environment, the production department comes out stronger.

With great attention to the environmental and energy aspects, Teamplast collaborates with local companies for the complete recycling of waste material for its total recovery, as well as the paints and thinners used in the printing process, which are disposed of in specialised centres. Totally regenerating waste plastics is, for a family that is attentive to respecting the rules and the environment, one of the points of greatest pride.

About two years after the tenth anniversary, Francesca tells us, Teamplast decides to invest in energy efficiency, installing a photovoltaic system for internal electricity supply during working days. This operation shows the pragmatism and vision of the family, attentive both to saving the energy needed to operate the production systems and to respecting the environment in an increasingly free market.

In the following years Teamplast invests (and periodically renews) in the ISO 9001:2015 and UNI EN 15593:2008 certifications which guarantee suitability for contact with food and medical products. Significant steps towards a policy of excellence concern the drafting an internal document on the company's Quality Policy necessary to describe the hygiene and safety standards that must be strictly respected by employees during work.

In 2019, on the eve of its tenth year of activity, the company takes a further leap forward by purchasing the entire property where the business is based, which had been rented until that moment. The tenth anniversary of the business is celebrated with a decisive expansion of the number of employees, which goes from 8 to 12 on a permanent basis.

From 2020 to 2023, productive investments continue

In the following years, investments continued, this time for the improvement of the company's functionality and security. through the construction of a new external fence, a new security system and the reorganization of the external spaces for a logistical improvement of the storage and production departments.

For a world in profound change, Even at the communication level, emphasis is given to the external image. 2022 is the year of the restyling of the company logo, and of the renewed website to make the most of the new communication and marketing strategy

Today Teamplast is investing in production efficiency, through the purchase of new machinery with a 4.0 perspective that allow us to speed up work, control and analyze internal processes and respond effectively to the increasingly demanding market demands. In the same vein, the administrative department is also expanding, with the addition of new specialized professional figures.
