Teamplast donates neutral LDPE bags for the packaging of surgical masks to our Municipality of Bondeno (FE).
We thought it was right and necessary to give our small contribution to the municipality of our city, engaged in the packaging of surgical masks to be distributed free of charge to citizens, offering Mayor Saletti neutral LDPE bags for the packaging of protective devices. The LDPE material, being a type of plastic impermeable to water vapor and gases, guarantees effective protection against saliva droplets (the droplets of saliva that come out of our mouth when talking, coughing, etc.), therefore to give greater safety to citizens it is preferable to use a material of this type, especially in this time of pandemic.
It is a significant example of the importance of plastic in our daily life; contrary to what they want us to believe, plastic remains a very important resource and cannot be considered a problem, the real problem remains the use that is made of these materials especially at the end of their life. In essence, the real problem is always man and his lack of respect for things and nature.
Items in LDPE or PP (and they are not the only ones) are produced in 100 % recyclable material and therefore can be brought back to life infinite times IF RECYCLED CORRECTLY; all it would take is a little common sense and education on the diversification of the materials we discard, before they are sent to suitable recovery centers for recycling.
